The Moisturizer | 50 ml
Read the back of a drugstore face lotion and the scent is usually listed as a single word: fragrance. Nearby, there's often petrolatum or mineral oil, the kind of ingredients that make skin feel smooth while clogging the pores underneath.
This one is 95% organic and built around ingredients Alitura sources from organically managed bees in Hawaii. Raw Wilelaiki honey, made from the Christmas berry plant, helps balance skin and gently lifts away dry, dull cells. Bee propolis brings antioxidants and helps decongest pores. German blue chamomile calms redness, and sea buckthorn oil carries more than 190 nutrients, including about 12 times the vitamin C of an orange. Olive oil, cocoa butter, evening primrose, and aloe make up the base. The scent comes only from essential oils: ylang ylang, Australian sandalwood, vanilla, calendula, and carrot seed.
It goes on light and doesn't feel like a layer, but it lasts. In an independent study of 32 women, hydration rose 34% after one use, and 81% still had more hydrated skin eight hours later. Like the rest of the line, it's protected by Miron glass rather than synthetic preservatives.
Use it twice a day. Massage it into your face, neck, chest, and around your eyes in the morning after serum, and again at night before a richer cream. It's also a good fit after shaving or dermarolling, when skin needs calming more than anything else.
